Do you ever feel backed into a corner?

The next time you feel backed into a corner, and have to make a decision…it will probably lead to change, something we resist…after all, we are creatures of habit.

There’s another side to it…a more positive one…change is another way of looking for clarity…

On a profound level, it challenges our basic ‘instinct for survival’, because change is about confronting the unfamiliar…

…wasn’t everything unfamiliar at one time until we got to know it better?

A shift in thinking…

Once the unfamiliar becomes familiar it seamlessly becomes part of our ‘new and improved’ self.

Change is a shift in our thinking, nothing more scary than that…it starts in the mind, and if its right for you, you take it on…where it’s likely to happen easily and smoothly…without angst. That wasn’t so bad after all…

Once change has taken place, the old ways will soon feel out-of-date and you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

It may be a good thing…

Change even with all the fears we associate with it, is more often than not, a good thing…I can’t remember an important decision I’ve made and regretted…it’s always been for the better.

Our need for change is like the ‘merry-go-round’ of fashion…you get fed up with things looking or being the same…you need a new whatever to lift your spirit…so you start to look for the ‘refresh’ button…

Once you’ve ‘clicked’ it…

….you’ll pass a store window, glance at your reflection…the new you, and feel like a million bucks…your stride will quicken, then lengthen, and you’ll get where you’re going with greater ease…and sooner…

…physically and/or metaphorically…

Try it…
