Can being average be enough?
Excelling at average can get us a lot further...sometimes a lot quicker.
If we wait for everything to be perfect before we start, endlessly studying the pros and cons, hemming and hawing, drumming our fingers on the desk...it may never happen.
Could this be what's holding us back? Where does due-diligence end?
What if perfect doesn’t come knocking? Does that mean we’ll never start?
Get in the game...
Surely being average might at least get us started…and that’s the hard part…isn’t it? Waiting for perfect is the fast track to procrastination.
Why do we put things off? Fear? Commitment? Responsibility?
There’s a lot to be said for ignorance.
It’s action that gets us where we want to go...driven by a smidgen of hope to get us off on the right foot.
What you don’t know, you can always learn along the way, on an as needed basis…get in the game first, trust yourself, trial and error, experiment, it’s the best way to learn.
If there’s one mistake I’ve made that stands out above all others…it’s waiting to get my ducks in a row.
Do yourself a favour…just start.
It’ll put you leaps and bounds ahead of all those waiting for perfect…
